Funding Opportunities For Suborbital Research

Dear Researchers,

DreamUp is happy to share a funding opportunity for suborbital research.

This RFP, sponsored by NASA – is another REDDI Appendix F1 solicitation to support flight technologies. The solicitation is open to all U.S. private entities (for profit and non-profit), Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, U.S. Universities, as well as foreign entities when it partnership with a U.S. entity.

NanoRacks serves as the payload integrator for Blue Origin’s New Shepard Space Vehicle, with flight opportunities for researchers to begin as early as summer of 2016.

We look forward to supporting your proposals. Please contact us at least two weeks prior to the due date to discuss your proposal. We would then be happy to review your bid, understand your flight requirements, make sure your payloads fit within the capabilities of New Shepard, and offer our letter of support with documentation as required by this solicitation.

The Request For Proposal is due March 8, 2016. Previously, the REDDI proposal opportunities have offered academic and industry researchers up to $50,000 per payload, PLUS up to $250,000 in suborbital flights.
